Can Trailer Legs Tire Saver Stands 326-TRLLG-4 Be Used on Tandem Axle Mallard Travel Trailer
Published 11/01/2018 >
Question:
These look like a excellent product, I have a 20 ft. Fleetwood Mallard camper and was told to never use the axles to raise it up. Its a dual axle so I was wondering if I could use these?

The USA-made TrailerLegs Tire Saver Stands # 326-TRLLG-4 are safe to use on your 20-foot tandem axle Fleetwood Mallard travel trailer.
Since the axles are always supporting the trailer's weight anyway there is no issue using these stands to both protect your tires from flat spots and to better stabilize your trailer. Since the stands are about 8-times more rigid than your trailer's tires, they will also make moving around within the trailer at your campsite a less shaky activity.
If you look at the photo I linked showing a stand in its support position you'll notice that the overall contact area "footprint" with the ground is many times larger than the tire contact surface that it replaces.
Since the 20-foot Mallard M-19N has a dry weight of only 3700-lbs the set of four stands will have an enormous amount of weight safety margin since each one is rated for 4000-lbs.
