Does Trailer Hitch on 2010 Toyota Corolla Cover Rear Jack Point
Updated 10/31/2018 | Published 10/30/2018 >
Question:
My 2010 Corollas main rear jack point is at the tailing edge of the spare tire well see attached picture. This appears to be directly beneath the installed hitch tubing. None of your pictures nor your installation video reveal for certain whether this is really the case. Q: Does the Curt hitch make this rear jack point on a 2010 Corolla no longer accessible?

Expert Reply:
Yes the installation of either trailer hitch that fits your 2010 Toyota Corolla, the Curt # C11265 as well as the Draw-Tite # 24913 will cover the jack point.
It will still be possible to jack your Corolla up with the jack that came with the car, you will simply need to use a different point such as the frame rail or pinch weld.
I have added links to install videos of both hitches for you to check out as well.
