Of those two hitch reducer options, the Buyers Products 3" to 2" Receiver Tube Adapter # 337RTA302 is compatible with your 2017 Ram 2500's 3 inch receiver. The Reese's pin hole is too large to match your truck's receiver.
There are also other options like the B&W Hitch Receiver Reducer Sleeve - 3" to 2-1/2" # BWRHXA2183 and the Curt Hitch Receiver Reducer Sleeves - 3" to 2-1/2" or 2" # C45408. Any of these options will work with your factory 3 inch hitch.
