Question:
Looking for a bike rack for a 2019 Impreza. I know that the hitch racks are what is recommended but the car is leased so really can't/don't want to go that route. Can you suggest a good way for me to transport my bike?

I have a great option for you to transport your bike with your leased 2019 Subaru Impreza. I highly recommend taking a look at the SeaSucker Talon Roof Bike Rack # 298-BT1004.
This is a really unique system that will allow you to carry 1 bike on your Impreza's roof OR trunk. What sets this carrier apart from others for your application is that it will mount to the vehicle body using 4 vacuum cups that won't scratch or dent the car's surface. After removing the the rack there won't be any evidence that one was even used. With traditional trunk-mounted racks, even the most premium options, there is still a decent chance that a couple of scratches or scuffs will be left behind on the vehicle after use. This will not be an issue with the SeaSucker.
This fork-mounted carrier includes a 9-mm quick-release skewer and can handle a bike that weighs up to 45 pounds.
If you have a couple bikes we also have the SeaSucker Mini Bomber # 298-BM2006 that can handle up to 2 bikes that are 45 pounds each.
I have attached a couple short video demonstrations on these bike racks as well so you can see exactly how they work.
