SeaSucker Vacuum Cup

The SeaSucker Mini Bomber is quick and easy to mount. To install the rack make sure the mounting surface is clean and place the rack on your roof, trunk, or window glass then press the pump several times until the orange band disappears. To break the seal and remove the rack from your vehicle simply pull the T-shaped tab up and towards the center of the cup. As suction decreases over time the plunger will extend from the cup. When the orange indicator band shows simply repump the plunger.

  • How To Carry 4 Bikes on a 2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV
  • The Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 24956 for your 2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV does indeed have a 200 lb max tongue weight rating however, the hitch is almost always rated for more weight than the vehicle can handle. In addition to weight capacity, the maximum number of bikes that can be loaded on a Class I hitch is 2 and since they only make a Class I hitch for your vehicle, you will be limited to 2 bikes. The reason for the 2 bike maximum has more to do with leverage than...

  • The Kuat Transfer 3 Bike Rack, part # TS03G is not compatible with a Class I hitch, however, its sister model, the Transfer 2 Bike Rack, part # TS02G, is. Class 1 hitches are not capable of hauling more than two bikes at a time, as the additional force generated by the third bike can damage the hitch or rack. If you'd like to add a little security to the Kuat Transfer, there is a lock kit available as part # PTSCLK12 that adds a hitch and cable lock to the system. I've included video...

  • Best Way to Carry 4 Bikes on a 2012 Lexus IS250C Convertible
  • This particular instance has to do with the way that a Class I hitch, like the Curt Class I Round Tube Receiver, part # C11047, is structured and the way that the leverage applied by the weight of the bikes will affect a light duty hitch. Class I hitches are only intended for use to carry 2 bikes because putting weight further back on the shank of the bike rack will apply undue force to the hitch and the rack itself, causing the shank of the bike to possibly bend and fail because of...

  • I have an adapter that will allow for you to use a 2" bike rack on a 1-1/4" hitch receiver, however, the Replacement Aluminum Hitch Adapter Sleeve for Saris part # SA3032 is designed for a 2" receiver. In order to mount your Saris Bike Porter Bike Rack on a 1-1/4" hitch receiver, you will need to use an adapter like the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Adapter part # C45785. However, the maximum number of bikes allowed to be hauled on a Class I hitch receiver is 2 and your tongue weight will...

  • Most Versatile Hitch Mounted Bike Rack for Use with Multiple Different Types of Bikes
  • The most amount of bikes you can carry on a hitch mounted bike rack is five with a hanging bike rack like the Yakima RidgeBack 5 Bike Rack part # Y02459. However, a hanging bike rack like the above is not your most versatile option because it will require an adapter bar like the Yakima Tube Top Bike Adapter Bar part # Y02531 for bikes with an alternative frame which are pretty common. The most versatile option is a platform bike rack but this will only allow you to carry up to four bikes. Out...

  • Bike Rack Options for a 2015 Lexus RC350
  • I have a solution for you, but unfortunately, there's not a confirmed hitch fit for the 2015 Lexus RC 350. I don't recommend using a non-verified hitch on a vehicle because it risks damage to the vehicle's frame and internals if something goes wrong with the hitch. Instead, I would recommend looking at a trunk mounted rack or a SeaSucker rack. For a trunk rack, I recommend the Yakima HangOut, part # Y02638. This rack holds up to three bikes on your trunk and allows for a quick install...

  • Recommended Bike Rack for a 2008 Honda Fit Sport
  • For the 2008 Honda Fit Sport, the rear bumper is so slim that the Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top, part # HRF2 will not work unless the vehicle has a trailer hitch receiver installed. Which at that point, you may as well just use a hitch mounted rack as the capacities will be higher, and you can get better features out of the rack. I recommend just going with the hitch because it's not hard to install and the flexibility in hitch racks and other applications is worth the increased cost....

  • Options for Carrying a Bike Rack and Canoe With 2016 Ford F-150
  • There are potentially ways you can carry your bikes and canoe, though not at the same time on a front-mounted hitch. An adapter would cut the tongue weight of the hitch in half, and the weight of the extender, rack, canoe, and bikes would be restricting. If you wanted to use a front mounted hitch such as the Draw-Tite # 65067, you would potentially be able to carry your canoe with a T-bar such as the Darby Extend-A-Truck Hitch Mounted Load Extender # DTA944 alone, though I would not...

  • Best Trunk Mount Bike Rack to Prevent Scratches or Dents on 2019 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
  • For your 2019 Mercedes-Benz C-Class the best trunk-mount bike rack is the Thule Raceway PRO 3-Bike Rack # TH9002PRO. This rack is confirmed to fit your vehicle and unlike most other trunk-mounted racks which require 6 points of contact, this particular unit only uses 4 cables with hooks to attach to the trunk. The fewer contacts points along with the nylong cable covers, TPE sleeves, and molded rubberized base pads will all contribute to providing a rack that has very little chance of causing...

This is a really unique system that will allow you to carry 1 bike on your Impreza's roof OR trunk. After removing the the rack there won't be...

  • Carrying 6 Bikes on a 2012 Honda Odyssey
  • There's a couple ways to do this, but the first thing you'll want to verify is your vehicle's towing capacity and roof capacity with your manufacturer to make sure you don't exceed your capacity. A quick tip on this setup is that the two 16 inch bikes are likely best carried in the rear cargo area of the vehicle, as there's only a few hitch racks that can carry them. Either way, you'll need to attach a hitch to get the best capacity out of your vehicle. I recommend using the Draw-Tite...

  • Best 2 Bike Rack for Full Suspension Mountain Bikes on a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee
  • A lot of this depends on if your 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee is equipped with a trailer hitch receiver or not. If you don't have a trailer hitch, your best pick for a portable rack will be the Yakima FullBack Trunk Mount Rack, part # Y02634. This rack has integrated bike and rack locks, giving it a lot of security. It can be easily installed and removed, allowing you maximum flexibility. Additionally, the ZipStrip mounting mechanisms help reduce vibration and sway as your bikes ride. If...

  • Carrying 4 Bikes on a 2014 Toyota Prius Plug-In Hybrid
  • I have a solution for you but there are a few limitations with a Class I hitch that will change how you load the vehicle. A Class I hitch like the Curt, part # C11276 is limited to only carrying two bikes. A Class I hitch is designed to only have weight relatively close to the vehicle, so adding a third bike can risk significant damage to the vehicle and the hitch. I can't recommend the setup that you've looked at for that reason. Before I get into the recommendations for your...

  • Carrying 4 Bikes on a 2017 Subaru Outback Touring Wagon with a Factory Hitch
  • Class I hitches are always limited to only two bikes, as the weight of any bikes past the second can cause the forces applied to the hitch to be magnified, risking damage to the bike rack, vehicle or hitch. If you provide me with a little more information about your vehicle, I can make a better recommendation to fit more than two bikes onto your vehicle.

  • Is a Trailer Hitch Available for a Bike Rack on a 2018 Toyota C-HR?
  • There is no trailer hitch available for your 2018 Toyota C-HR at the moment, but I did take a look at the owner's manual, and while it does not mention the warranty, it does say the installation of a tow hitch is not recommended. If it turns out a hitch will have an impact on the warranty, that does not mean you won't be able to transport bikes; in fact there is one immediate option for you in the form of the SeaSucker Mini Bomber Roof 2 Bike Rack, # 298-BM2006.
