Is the Weight Rating for a Set of Loading Ramps Per Axle

Is the 6k ramp weight pair axel weight or total vehicle weight?

The Gen-Y Hitch Aluminum Loading Ramp Set part # 325-GH-R84 has a 6,000 lb weight capacity which is for one axle. In most cases, both axles will never be on the ramp together so as long as the weight on either axles does not exceed 6,000 lbs then you will be good to go. However, if at any time there is more than 6,000 lbs on one axle you would need to upgrade to the Gen-Y Hitch Aluminum Loading Ramp Set part # 325-GH-R96 which has a 10,000 lb per axle weight capacity.
