Can Fulton Hi-Mount Spare Tire Carrier be Bolted to a Featherlite 3110 Trailer
Published 09/26/2018 >
Question:
Hi - I just purchased a used Featherlite 3110 open trailer. I also acquired a Fulton Bolt On Spare Tire Carrier from a friend that wasnt using it anymore. Can this be mounted on my trailer? I see most pictures have it being installed around the side beam of trailers, but I dont have a trailer like that. Please advise if this will work and where the best place to mount it or suggest another tire mount. Thanks

Since the frame on your Featherlite 3110 is mostly covered you wouldn't really have any other option but to bolt Fulton Hi-Mount Spare Tire Carrier # FSTC1000301 to the outside of the frame at the front of the trailer. I do recommend bolting it through the frame meaning the hardware would go all the way through. Using the included brackets at the back will also help distribute the force applied to the carrier over a larger area.
