For your 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 short bed quad cab Draw Tite offers the part # 9464-35 as a confirmed fit which consists of the 9460 hitch head and the 4435 rail kit. At this time Bulldog does not offer any gooseneck hitches for your truck, but Draw Tite is made by same company as Bulldog. I attached an install video for this hitch for you to check out as well.

Does not give the distance from the rear to the front to drill the 3.5" hole... Instructions on the Draw Tite website do not give them either... I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 Long bed 8ft box. I have the 9460-39 Gooseneck & brackets. Any help would be F ing amazing! Thx

For the Draw-Tite # 9460-39 on your 2001 Dodge Ram with the 8 foot box the hole will be drilled 45-1/2” from the rear of the bed.

@ChrisR Thanks. Just wish it wouldn't of taken 5 days. Even the Draw Tite 800# on hold for 2 hours friday afternoon trying to get it installed for picking up new Toy Hauler. Very disappointed in Draw Tite!
