Question:
Will this work with factory computer on 2011 f-350?

Expert Reply:
The Ford factory brake controller that is in the dash does not have to be removed. You will need to unplug the connector under the dash and plug in the # C51432 adapter for the Curt Spectrum brake controller # C51170 to the factory brake controller plug behind the dash.
The vehicle will need the computer flashed so it will keep from searching for the connection to the OEM brake controller in the future, eliminating any fault codes. This will usually have to be done at the Ford Dealer.
