Towing Mirrors for a 2017 Silverado 2500 and Brake Controller Adapter for a 2009 Tiffin Allegro
Question:
Do these stick out far enough to pull a 8x6 wide trailer and see down the side of the trailer? For a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 I want to install this on a 2009 Tiffin Aallegro Bus (Freightliner chassis) with air brakes. It has a conector under the dash for a brake controller. So you have a plug and play wiring adaptor that will fit the bus to the brake controler? Thanks

The CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors # CM10950 actually have adjustable mirrors to fit your towing experience. We haven't tested your scenario exactly but if you check out the attached test coure video you can get an idea of what it looks like with a trailer that is just as wide but slightly longer than your trailer. Keep in mind that the camera is attached to the window so it will look a little different from inside the cab of your 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500.
If your Tiffin Allegro has the XC-Series Freightliner chassis then we do have the adapter # 3027-P which plugs in to the factory connector under your dash and allows you to easily connect your Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195. If you have a FRED chassis then we don't have an adapter (at least there hasn't been one tested). If you have a FRED chassis let me know and I can help you get the P3 connected properly.
