Will I be able to directly attach a pioneer platform to these legs on a 2016 Nissan frontier king cab?

I do have a solution for you, however there is not a Pioneer Platform available that will mount directly to a leg kit on your 2017 Nissan Frontier King Cab. What you can do though is use the Universal Mount Pioneer Platform # RR42115BF that mounts to roof rack crossbars.
For a roof rack that will work great on your Nissan Frontier I recommend the Rhino-Rack Vortex Roof Rack. This consists of the 2500 Series Legs # RRRLKVA that you mentioned, the two 54 inch Vortex Aero Crossbars # RRVA137B-2, and the DK Fit Kit # DK374. This will provide you with a sturdy but aerodynamic roof rack and the crossbars needed to mount the Pioneer Platform.
