Question:
I think I need to replace my trailers torsion axle. With no weight on wheels trailer lifted the axle arm has no down angle, in fact it is pitched upwards. Also the front angle iron fender brace shows signs of wheel/tire rub. Outside frame width is 77-inches and hub bolt pattern is 5 x 5. Would like a replacement axle with brakes. Thanks,

Expert Reply:
We do not carry standard style of torsion axles. The closest we have is the Timbren Axle Less axle setups like the part # ASR3500S05 which has a 3,500 lb capacity and would work well for you as long as the capacity is correct for your trailer.
For a hub/drum to fit this wit a 5 on 5 inch bolt pattern you'd then want the part # AKHD-550-35-EZ-K. Then for brake assemblies you'd want the # AKEBRK-35L-SA and # AKEBRK-35R-SA.
