Where should the top and bottom mountung brackets be in relation to the door handle?

The mounting location of the Lend-a-Hand Folding Grab Handle # AM-200 really just boils down to personal preference. Most people install the mounting brackets as close to the door frame as possible though that they have an easier time reaching the handle (see attached picture).
