Question:
I have Lippert 7K axles LCI170-sb-90 and wish to upgrade to 8K axles. What are my options? Lippert does not have a 8K spring axle but a 8K tortion axle. I assume the 90 in the part number is a 90inch hub spacing. I measured tire center to tire center it was 90. Is there a Dexter or other equiv? plus upgrade the elect brakes to elect-hydr Kodiak disc brakes.

Dexter does offer 8k axles but at this time we do not offer any. We do however have 8,000 lb axle disc brake kits from Kodiak that you could use like the part # K2HR89DD. Then for an actuator kit the HydraStar actuators are the best around.
For a kit that comes with this actuator, brake lines, and a breakaway kit you'd want the part # HBA16-252-82.
To pick out the axles you'll need you'll need to find a local trailer shop who can order them in and get them the hub face to hub face dimension as well as the distance between spring seat centers.
