Troubleshooting Weak Trailer Brakes of R-Pod Travel Trailer

Question:
Had primes iq 90160 installed on 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler Sport 4/door. Went to pick up Jeep and Rpod travel trailer and was told there is not enough power to activate brakes. Have you had any other customers with this problem?

The Tekonsha Primus IQ part # TK90160 that you referenced would have more than enough power for your R-Pod travel trailer's brakes. Most likely your issue is not related to the controller at all unless the controller isn't sitting level. Typically weak brakes are due to improper brake adjustment.
You will want to have the adjustment screw tightened to the point where the wheel locks up and then back it off 10 clicks. Check out the video I attached at the 4:25 mark. If the trailer is new and has self-adjusting brakes you'd just need to apply the brakes several times till they tighten properly.
