Question:

Is item # 295-000003 only used for outside compartments or can it be used to replace the cylinders in the original lock set for entry doors? I am trying avoid changing the whole lock/handle. If at all possible I would just like to change out the cylinders and have new keys.

If the lock core on your entry door is 7/8" long x 3/4" diameter then the Cam Lock Cylinder part # 295-000003 will work for you. They are mainly used to lock baggage doors on the exterior but so long as the lock core is the same size it will work on your entry door. If the lock cores are different sizes you may just want to use the Global Link RV Entry Door Locking Latch Kit part # 295-000019.
