I have a 2011 Dodge 2500 diesel .. short bed...will this hitch work with either below bed mounts or traditional above bed mounts? I also have air bags on truck. Will there be any interference with below bed truck mounts.

The Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # DM8550022 that you referenced is a great option for your 2011 Dodge Ram Pickup and it is designed to mount to custom underbed rails. This particular hitch will not work with above-bed base rails. For the underbed rail kit that is confirmed to fit your Ram and that will work perfectly with this hitch, you will need the Installation Kit # DM8551005. This kit includes all the brackets and crossmembers needed for installation.
The frame brackets for this kit are narrow enough that they will not interfere with air bag mounting brackets. I have attached the written installation instructions as well so you can see exactly where the brackets will mount.
