The Plastic Stem and Rubber Socket Door Holder - 2" Long Stem # DH39R can be installed onto your fender if desired to allow your door to be secured open. You can alternatively use a Hook and Keeper for Enclosed Trailer Door # 383400 in another location like mounted to the fender to give you a similar option. There is not an option we carry that is long enough to allow connection to the main trailer wall when the fender is making contact with the door.

The Hook and Keeper for Enclosed Trailer Door - Zinc Plated # 383400 does not come with the mounting hardware so that you can determine what is best for your specific application. The holes are 1/4 inch diameter. You may want to consider using zinc screws like # 1131832.
