IF I WANTED TO TEMP. MOUNT THIS WINCH TO MY TRUCK BED, WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO POWER IT ?

No matter where you mount the Superwinch LT2000 ATV Winch # 1220210 it does need to be powered via a 12 volt battery with a circuit breaker between the switch and battery, as per the the cutout of the instructions I've added for you.
You can use an auxiliary 12 volt battery and store it in a battery box such as # DW03188 or # TWSP12B and then have the circuit breaker temporarily mounted to the truck bed to do this.
