Question:
I have a 20ftdump trailer two dually axles with 234/80r16 tires. Trailer weighs 8000lbs. Want a tire with a combined load capacity of at least 30,000 lbs. More if possible. Any suggestions? 8 tires

Expert Reply:
Based on the needed capacity of 30,000 pounds I recommend going to an ST235/85-16 load range G tire, # TTWPRG235R16. When used on dually applications each tire would be rated for 3,860 pounds at 110 psi. For 2 dually axles and 8 tires total that would provide a capacity of 30,880 pounds. That will get you to your goal plus a little extra! I have included a link to a video covering the features of this tire.
