Could Shock of DeeZee Tailgate Lowering System part # DZ43301 be Installed Upside Down

Question:
I put the shock on upside down. I need to take it off and turn it around. How do I do this? I cant seem to be able to do it. Will it still work this way upside down? Thank You,

There's no reason the shock of the DeeZee Tailgate Lowering System part # DZ43301 couldn't be used upside down. The seal for the shock is tight enough that in either orientation it would work fine. To remove the ends off of the mounting post basically just requires you to pull hard enough so that they come off.
