Replacement 29-1/2 Inch Tall Landing Gear Follow Leg

Question:
I need a follow leg for my 5th wheel. Yesterday I spoke with Chelsie and she sent me a link to what she thought was the leg I need. I checked it out and I am not sure it is the right one. It appears that the support tabs are on both sides of the leg which is okay if the measurements, tabs, and shaft are all in the correct configuration. I am looking for conformation that this is the correct part before shipment. Description: Leg length 291/2, Outside support tabs measurement 17inch and inside support tabs measures 151/2. The shaft needs to be on one side and the support tabs need to be on the opposite side. The leg mounts on the inside of the frame. She quoted #LG-179014 The follow leg is on the drivers side and the shaft points to the passenger side with the support tabs on the drivers side of the leg. Thanks for the help.

I went out to our warehouse to take a look at the Replacement Follow Jack w/ Drop Leg # LG-179014 that you mentioned. The leg itself does indeed have a length of exactly 29-1/2 inches. The distance between the welded tabs, inside to inside, is right at 15-1/2 inches. The distance from outside to outside is 17-1/2 inches. The welded tabs are on both sides of the unit.
This is almost identical to the measurements you mentioned for your existing system. I recommend simply verifying the measurements you took to ensure this will work perfectly as a replacement.
