5th Wheel Install Kit & Hitch for a 2018 Ford F-150 w/5-1/2 Foot Bed & Trailer w/Revolution Pin Box

Question:

I have a 2018 F 150 with a 5 1\2 ft bed and I will be purchasing a fifthwheel with a revolution pin box I would rather have a under bed mount for the hitch are there any options

You would need to go with an above bed rail system because there are no compatible under bed 5th wheel mounts for the 2018 Ford F-150 with 5-1/2 Foot bed.

For an installation kit I recommend Reese custom kit # RP56034-53. This kit is the easiest to install because the connections between the rails and frame brackets are all on the outboards sides of the frame where they are easier to reach.

For a 5th wheel hitch the Reese 16K # RP30047 is the tried and true workhorse. It has been around a long time; why mess with success! This hitch features a dual jaw design for excellent contact with the trailer king pin. It also features a 4-Way pivoting head which is pretty much the standard nowadays.
