Does the 99 hitch fit a 01 Jetta?

If the 99 year Volkswagen Jetta was the 99.5 mid-year update then yes, a hitch from it like the Curt # C11070 would also fit a 2001 Volkswagen Jetta. If it was an early model Jetta then it would not carry over.
