How to Tell if the Rhino-Rack Fairing # RRRF1 Will Fit the OEM Roof Rack on a 2018 Nissan Frontier

Question:

SEEMS LIKE THIS WILL FIT THE FACTORY RACK ON OUR 2018 NISSAN FRONTIER. IT LOOKS ALTHOUGH HOWEVER, IT WILL LAND ON THE MOONROOF. DO YOU THINK IT WILL BE OK IF THE RUBBER FEET ON THE FAIRING LAND ON THE GLASS MOONROOF RATHER THAN THE ROOF ITSELF AS LONG AS WE OBVIOUSLY DO NOT OPEN THE MOONROOF WHILE THE FAIRING IS IN PLACE. WE ONLY NEED TO INSTALL IT WHEN WE HAVE THE CANOE ON THE RACK. WHEN THERE IS NOTHING ON THE RACK IT IS QUITE. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP

I do have a way for you to determine if it will fit the OEM crossbars on your 2018 Nissan Frontier, but right off hand I don't know if the Rhino-Rack Fairing # RRRF1 is the correct size.

This fairing is compatible with crossbars that have max dimensions of 3-1/2" wide x 1-1/4" tall and that have a minimum height of 7/8". As long as you have at least 26" of space between your crossbar legs this will fit for your application.

Let me know if this isn't compatible with your crossbar and I can help you find a different fairing out of our selection to help keep apocalyptic noises from coming as a result of your roof rack.

The rubber bumpers on the Rhino-Rack Fairing # RRRF1 will be fine touching your moonroof as long as you don't open up the moonroof (as you mentioned). The bumpers were added to help keep the fairing from scratching the roof of the vehicle that it is installed on whether that is a standard roof or glass.
