Question:
I have a 2018 SoLaire travel trailer. Here is my problem the last step on the ladder is 58-1/2 inch from the ground. I was looking at the short extension ladder your make but it is to short. from the top of the step to the top of the bumper is 30 inch plus you have the bumper which is 4 inch wide. It looks like I would need to add an extra step with the braces for the bumper. I measured the distance between the steps on my ladder. They are 11 inch apart with the except of the last step is only 9. Any suggestions. My huband already slipped trying to reach the bumper coming off the ladder.

If the 30-1/2" of the Surco RV Ladder Extension # SP504L is not long enough we do have another option available, the 48" Stromberg Carlson RV Ladder Extension # LA-148.
This extension will mean the last step will be about 10 inches from the ground, which is going to be a much more manageable last step and hopefully help prevent you or your husband from slipping. The only thing to note is that your current ladder does need to have 1" diameter vertical supports (the sides of the ladder) and they need to be 14" apart for this extension to properly attach.
