Roof Vent Install Kit for a 2006 Rockwood Rockwood Ultra Lite Series M-2304S with Rubber Coated Roof
Published 08/08/2018 >
Question:
I was wondering after the installation is completed should I get some Lap Sealant? It looks like the sealant I would use to put over the screws and seam with the roof to keep it water proof.

The correct kit you need to install a roof vent on your 2006 Rockwood Rockwood Ultra Lite Series M-2304S with a rubber coated roof is part # CAM25013 as you mentioned. The reason for this is because the rubber coating and silicone may not be compatible with one another which could lead to an improper seal or break down of materials. You would need to scrape away the old material with a putty scraper before the butyl tape is used.
