Need a hard top cover - considering the BAK48120 How water tight is the cover - seems to be- but I want to make sure. I understand under extreme rain there maybe some leaks but how does it perform in normal conditions Thanks

The correct BAKFLip MX4 Hard Folding Tonneau Cover for your 2018 Chevy Colorado is the part # BAK48126 if you have the 5 foot bed or # BAK48125 if you have the 6 foot bed. The BAKFlip MX4 # BAK48120 that you referenced is designed to fit certain model years of the Sierra and Silverado.
This particular tonneau cover will do a great job of keeping water from inside the bed. It features black rubber seals and a built-in drainage system that is designed specifically for this purpose. We have not heard of any issues from customers regarding leaking with the cover installed.
