Can Four Bike Racks fit Yakima Roof Rack on 2013 Ford F-150 Super Crew Cab?

Question:

Hello, Looking at this kit for my 2013 F-150 super crew: Y00422, Y00146, Y06168 Is it possible to carry 4 bikes with fork mount carriers with a roof rack like this or is that too much? I would imagine you would need to alternate bikes facing forwards and to the rear but if they fit can this type of rack handle the weight of 4 bikes. Probably 2 road bikes and 2 mtn... Thanks,

The weight capacity of the roof rack you mentioned that fits your 2013 Ford F-150 Super Crew: Yakima CoreBar Crossbars # Y00422, BaseLine Towers # Y28TR and BaseClip Fit Kit # Y06168 (you will need a quantity of 2) has a weight capacity of 125 lbs. The determining factor in regards to capacity will be whatever is lower, the rack or the capacity of your F-150's roof.

The CoreBar Crossbars are 60" and extend past the roof a bit so your fork-mounted bike racks will realistically need to be less than 10" wide to work with this rack. I highly recommend checking out the Kuat Trio Roof Bike Rack # TR02.
