Question:

The Maxx fan in my 5th wheel no longer starts. None of the electric features work, vent will not open or close using the switches but I can open it manually. The fuse looks good, battery is almost 100. It was fine until this afternoon, no previous issues I know of. Any ideas? Thank you.

If your MaxxFan Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan like the part # MA00A04301K that you were looking at suddenly stopped working I recommend using a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to see if power is getting to the fan. Depending on how the fan was installed, it may be attached to a circuit breaker that you can check but most likely it was wired directly to 12V power.

If you test the wiring and see that power is getting all the way to the switch, you may simply need to replace the switch. If you can tell me what model fan you have I can see if a switch is available. Some models may require you to replace the entire unit though.
