How to Determine if 2015 Volkswagen Beetle has New DEF Tank for Trailer Hitch Fit
Updated 07/31/2018 | Published 07/30/2018 >
Question:
I want a hitch and it says this one wont fit a tdi with the new def tank. Do you have one that will fit my 2015 Beetle tdi. I have no idea if it has a new def tank or not. What qualifies as new?

Expert Reply:
The new DEF tank that we are referring to is an AdBlue tank. This information came straight from one of our manufacturers so if you do not have an AdBlue tank on your 2015 Volkswagen Beetle then the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11354 should fit and work just fine!
If you let me know what you will be using the trailer hitch for I can make additional recommendations if necessary.
