For your 2012 Ram 1500 with 5.5 foot bed the Reese Quick-Install Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP50142-58 is the custom fit. If you use rails from the RP30035 then you simply need the Reese Quick-Install Custom Bracket Kit # RP50142 along with the Replacement Hardware Kit for Fifth Wheel Base Rails # RP58430 to makeup that custom kit.
If you already have the # RP30035 kit, then you can simply add the Reese Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches - Dodge Ram # RP58386 for a semi-custom kit.
