Question:
2016 F350 SuperDuty 8ft bed with Factory Hitch Prep Package I am curious which is the best option for my application. The BandW BWRVK3300 standard hitch seems to be the overwhelming choice, but based on your level of hitch, the Demco DM8550033 is a premium hitch. With the standard hitch having the double jaw and the premium hitch having the single hook jaw, I am confused as to which one is the best. Are their other factors that I am missing? Please advise. Thanks.

The jaw on the B&W Companion # BWRVK3300 is a standard dual-jaw design. There are different dual-jaw designs that are considered more secure or that operate easier than others but either way the dual-jaw design is solid and works well.
The jaw on the Demco HiJacker # DM8550033 is unique. It has both a dual-jaw design and a slide bar for extra security which is why we label it as a premium jaw design.
If it were me choosing between these two hitches for a 2016 Ford F-350 with factory prep package I would go with the B&W. I like the adjustability of the head front to back, I like the finish, I like how sturdy and well-made the hitches are. We rarely get any complaints about problems with the B&W hitches so it would be my top choice.
