Question:
Hello. I have a 2010 Chevy Silverado 5.3L 4x4 with a little transmission cooler in the front. Can I put a larger cooler? Do I just remove the old one and put the new one in its place? Can I use the same lines? Witch one would you recommend?

We always recommend that you install a transmission cooler inline with the factory cooler and not replace it. This is very simple to do and you will indeed use the factory transmission cooler lines for this. I have attached a sample install video if you need a better idea of what I am talking about.
The transmission cooler I recommend for your 2010 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit part # D13504. This transmission cooler is 11" wide x 12" tall x 7/8" deep and will do an excellent job of keeping the transmission fluid temperatures down both while towing and daily driving. The reduced transmission fluid temperatures will greatly increase the life of your transmission as heat is the number one cause of a transmission failing.
The only item you will need to install the cooler aside from what is included in the kit is the Derale Snap-In Radiator Adapter Fitting for GM part # D13035.
