Question:
how to wire in armored side marker lights have 2 wires my 05 gmc sierra has one wire

Expert Reply:
Although the Optronics # MCL86AB is designed for trailers you can possibly use it on your 2005 GMC Sierra. When a clearance light only has one wire it is because it is grounded through the mounting hardware.
Since the Steel Armored LED light that you referenced has 2 wires (one for power and one for ground) you would need a ring terminal like part # DW05737-1 and a self-tapping screw like part # FA1131822 for the ground.
