Wiring Two Batteries on 1996 Komfort 5th Wheel Trailer

Question:

I have a 1996 Komfort 30foot 5th wheel. Removed batteries a year ago and now cant remember how to hook them up. Series or parallel, can you answer this for me?

Your Komfort 5th wheel trailer will run on 12V power. To know how to best wire the batteries it is important to know what batteries are being used. If you have two 6V batteries which are normally smaller in size, you will wire them in series so you will get the 12V output needed.

If you have 12V batteries, then you will want to wire them in parallel so you will have the 12V output needed.

To know which batteries you have, the 6V or 12V will be clearly labeled on the battery itself. I've attached a photo showing you the wiring instructions for parallel and series so you properly install based on the battery voltage.
