Can a Thule Tracker System Be Installed on a 2012 Honda Pilot

Question:

Im looking to mount tracks on the roof of our 2012 Pilot to utilize the Thule Tracker II parts I already have, and to be able to move them between our two vehicles, rather then start over with whole new system. Ive seen applications where the Thule and Yakima tracks are bolted/riveted through the roof just inboard of the rubber-covered ditch that the OEM side rails are designed to utilize, but ideally Id like to utilize the ditch and bolt studs as well. Ive seen that Rhino Rack manufactures tracks designed to utilize the ditch on Toyota trucks, but from their website I cant determine if any of their many different tracks are designed for Pilot. Could any of the Rhino Rack track options be adapted for this application, if they dont make one specifically for Pilots? Id also consider adapting Thule fit kit feet to directly utilize the factory bolt studs for a fixed-attachment point as in the second image. I do have options for you but they do not make a roof track system specifically for your 2012 Honda Pilot. In order to mount a set of tracks like the Thule Top Track Roof Mount System part # THTP42 on your Pilot you would need to either bolt or rivet the tracks onto the vehicle. There are no pre drilled holes on your Pilot to accept the tracks so drilling will be required. I recommend placing the tracks inside of the ditch as this will make fitment much easier.
