Question:
After installing the Curt C56272 on my 2017 Ford Edge, the right turn signal flashes twice as fast as the left turn. Prior to installing the kit, both left and right were fast. Any thoughts?

Expert Reply:
The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56272 should not have changed the speed of your turn signal, so I recommend using a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to test the wires. Next I recommend checking the connections for bent pins and using a little dielectric grease # 11755 on the connections to give you a connection free of debris and moisture.
Then doublecheck the ground connection on the harness. Make sure the connection is bare metal to metal and is free of corrosion or debris. Even paint can cause this ground to not be ideal and may cause the issue you are stating. Try these and then let me know if we need to continue to troubleshoot.
