Question:

I have a Aero Cub 19.5 hybrid camper. If I install the subject rail against the door facing, will I hit solid backing to install the screws into. How far does the door frame extend into the installation area. Thanks for your help.

The Lend-a-Hand Folding Grab Handle # AM-200 referenced in your question does require a solid underlying surface to mount to on your camper. I really can't say what might be behind the exterior surface of your Aero Cub Hybrid Camper or how far the door frame extends. You can try using a stud finder around the area you are wanting to attach the brackets or even pull away an exterior panel to find a suitable spot.

In some cases longer bolts or a mounting plate is needed when a door stud can't be found where you are wanting to install the rail.
