Question:
I want to mount a winch on a trailer using a 1 1/4inch receiver tube on the trailer and a 1 1/4inch bar on the winch mounting plate. I can find 1 1/4inch receiver tubes to weld onto the trailer but I cant find the matching bar to weld onto the winch plate. Can you help? Thanks.

In order to create a removable winch mounting plate on your trailer I recommend using the Curt Weld-On 2" Receiver for Custom Fabricated Hitches part # E17 with the Curt Trailer Hitch Electric Winch Mount Plate part # C31010. All you would need to do to use this combo is weld the receiver tube to your trailer where you would like to position the winch and then bolt the winch to the mounting plate.
Unfortunately, we do not have any weld on 1-1/4" receiver tubes. However, the above 2" option will be much sturdier and allow for a greater number of other accessories to be mounted to the receiver tube.
