Good morning. Do these larger cap nuts use a 5/16 thread like the Yakima Snaparound? If not, does the cap nut Y8810155 use the same threads as the Snaparound? Thank you for looking into it

I pulled the parts you mentioned from the warehouse and the Yakima Replacement Luggage Knobs, # Y8870048, and the Replacement Capnut and Washer, # Y8810155, do not use the same threads as the SnapAround mounting bracket hardware, like part # Y8840018.
The part you will need is the Yakima Replacement 5/16 inch Hex Key Set, # Y8810041.
