Can I insulate spray foam over the fresh water tank heating pad?

I spoke with my contact at ThermaHeat regarding the Heater Pad # 277-000163 that you referenced. He did state that they don't really recommend insulating the pad with foam like what you are describing, as this can potentially affect its function and may interfere with the surrounding wiring as well. The pads are designed to attach directly to the tank.
