Is this the right part for a 1987 VW Vanagon Westfalia T3 camper? If so, how many brackets/attachment points are there? Do these brackets support the 10 foot awning on this vehicle? Thanks!

Your 1987 VW Vanagon Westfalia Camper should have the lift roof which jets straight up; if it does then the Thule HideAway Awning Adapter for VW Van with Lift Roof # TH307887 is exactly what you need to install the 10' Thule HideAway Roll Out Awning # TH490011; they do support this awning and there will be three attachment points.
