Ventline Replacement Smoke Dome Assembly Recommendation for a 2009 Domani Fifth Wheel Trailer

Question:

Hello Jameson I did some measuring on this 09 Domani [Carriage] 5th. wheel. The frame opening size is 13 by 13. If I flip the cover over it measures 15 by 15 outside to outside flange. The hindge and the metal cross member are identical to mine with the name henge stamped on it. I think Im gaining. So is your vent going to work on my frame size wise. Thanks Gerry

It sounds like the Ventline Replacement Smoke Dome Assembly # BV0554-03 that you referenced would be the correct vent for you if the hinge and cross member of your vent roof looks identical to the # BV0554-03 that you referenced.

Size wise I think you are good, you said the opening of the vent is 13 inches by 13 inches, and the overall lid dimensions are 15 inches by 15 inches. This would put the vent dimensions at around 14 inches by 14 inches if I understood you correctly. Most roof vents are 14 by 14, it could almost be considered the industry standard size.
