Does Thule Roof Cargo Basket Need Roof Rack to Fit 2019 Jeep Cherokee?

Question:
Will this fit a 2019 jeep cherokee on just the factory side bars? or would I also need to install cross bars

You will need a roof rack with crossbars in order to mount the Thule Roof Cargo Basket # TH859XT on your 2019 Jeep Cherokee. I would be happy to recommend the correct roof rack system for your Jeep if you can let me know if if it has raised side rails that run front to back, flush mounted rails that run front to back, or a naked roof (no rails at all).
