Question:

I have an old trailer with a hand wheel latch that the bolt stripped out on. I would really prefer to have a more conventional latch type. Is it possible to swap the latch with out changing the coupler? If so what kit would I use?

You'd have to swap out the coupler as there isn't a way to convert a hand wheel latch to a trigger style coupler. For example you'd want the part # CT-3001-Z if you have a 2 inch channel and a 2 inch hitch ball.
