Question:

I have a 2006 Adiarondak 5th wheel and a 2018 Toyota Tundra. I am looking for a way to put both together but it seems to be quite challenging. The Pin on the trailer is an Atwood model: AB-34 HD which does not seem to be compatible with a lot of options. The truck is a 2018 Tundra CrewMax 5.5foot box. What mount/slider/rails/hitch do I need to be able to hook these things together?

There is only one fifth wheel hitch solution we have for your 2018 Toyota Tundra with a 5-1/2 foot bed to tow a trailer with the Atwood pin box you mentioned. While most slider fifth wheel hitches will slide back around 12 inches to allow for turning clearance the Demco 13k Auto Slider part # DM8550040 is the only hitch that will slide back 22-1/2 inches which will give your short bed truck the clearance needed. Anytime a truck bed is shorter than 6 feet more slider clearance is needed than the standard 12 inches.

For a rail kit you'd then want the custom install kit part # DM8552020-71 which is a fit for your truck. Custom install kits are the way to go as they will minimize frame drilling and install time.
