Question:
I have a 2003 Acura MDX with full size spare underneath. I was looking at the Curt class 3 receiver hitch to add to my vehicle for hauling bikes and maybe a small trailer with yard debris. Is this one you would recommend or is there another one I should look at. Thanks

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13328 would be a great choice for your 2003 Acura MDX. It is a Class III hitch that has a 2" receiver and 350 lb tongue weight capacity, giving you many options in terms of bike racks such as one of our most popular racks, the Thule Doubletrack Pro XT # TH92BJ.
For wiring which will give you a 4-way connector and allow you to power your trailer's lights you need Wiring Harness # C55336. I also recommend checking out Ball Mount Kit # 989900, which is for 2” hitches and may fulfill your towing needs in one tidy package; two ball mounts - one with a 3/4” rise or 2” drop and the other with a 2-3/4” rise or 4” drop - a 1-7/8” hitch ball, a 2” hitch ball, and a pin and clip.
