Tow Bar Recommendation for Use with Demco Base Plate on 2017 Jeep Cherokee

Hi,my Jeep Cherokee 2017 not a Trailhawk I need a base plate you proposal is code DM 9519307 and the distance between brackets center to center is 32 3/4” but in my Demco Excalibur-Bar tow bar operators manual the recommendations for the base plate center to center is 22”-26” Did you think i have to change my tow bar for a Demco newer model. Thanks in advance for your help.

The distance between the brackets of the Demco Base Plate kit part # DM9519307 is 32-3/4 inches which would be too wide for your Excalibur. That means it's time for a new tow bar. The Excali-Bar II part # DM9511013 would be a great solution that would work well as a replacement.
