Question:
Hello, I have a customer with a 2013 dodge ram 1500, their tailgate is hitting their tongue jack, The one they currently have is a JACK WUICK JQ-3500B-7P? Is there a smaller one.??

Expert Reply:
The jack you mentioned is a very standard RV style of A-frame jack. Your customer might have luck going with a longer ball mount to add clearance between the tailgate and the jack but there really isn't a great way to get a smaller powered jack.
For example, we have the Curt ball mount part # D-26 which is 12-5/8 inches from hitch pin hole to ball hole which might give your customer the additional clearance needed.
